We listen, act, and transform
Meeting for therapy is a wide ranging experience for people. What is it that you want to focus on? How the connection feels for you with who you meet with matters, and research shows this is the predictive factor of successful therapy, how the connection is between therapist and client.
Some people come to therapy with a specific focus: wanting to understand the patterns that keep resurfacing; death of a loved one; transition in life, work and/or self/community; childhood trauma; traumatic event(S); and/or open ended, "How do I go about changing something, I am not clear about knowing"?
There are many ways to support people, couples, and systems that are seeking support. These include and are not limited to: Hakomi, IFS, Mindfulness, Yoga and Restorative Yoga, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Parts work, Cognitive Processing therapy for Trauma, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Gottman and many more tools honed over my 20+ years of experience and ongoing training.
Currently I am offering Telehealth/Video sessions for therapy or coaching. Clients range from individuals, couples, groups and organizations. There are some sliding scale slots open. Sessions are private pay, and there is form that can be sent via the Simple Practice portal that will let you seek reimbursement with your insurance provider. You will have to see first if they take OON (out of network benefits) and work with them to submit these forms and receive reimbursement because I am no longer in-network with insurance companies.
To support your decision process, I am happy to offer a brief consultation to see if working together would be the best outcome for you.
